Peachtree Park Civic Association

An organized leadership team along with committed volunteers make Peachtree Park a great place to live. The Peachtree Park Civic Association (comprised of residents) works closely with local officials to keep tabs on city of Atlanta zoning, transportation, code enforcement and security issues. This dedicated group works hard to ensure that Peachtree Park’s high standards of safety and livability are maintained.
The Board of Directors consists of 15 elected members who serve one-year terms. The Board looks to the neighborhood for volunteers in these areas. Each street has a captain that is not usually on the Board. These captains are the eyes, ears and point of communication between the board and the neighborhood. Of course, another great way to contribute is through monetary donations which are desperately needed for the maintenance of our traffic islands, signage, newletters, directory, social activities and administrative costs.
You can contribute in may ways to Peachtree Park. With about 550 homes in Peachtree Park, we need more participation in the neighborhood to ensure our quality of life continues. We encourage you to run for an office, or volunteer on a committee.
For information on the PPCA, and to volunteer, contact any board member.

The PPCA held a fundraiser "Party in The Park" this year for the brave men and women who serve and protect our neighborhood with the Atlanta Police Department and Atlanta Fire Department.  The party was a huge success and we raised enough money to buy the APD Zone 2 several digital cameras to assist in investigations as well as critical office supplies to keep the administration humming!  We were also able to give all sorts of useful toiletries and other essential everday products to the firefighters in AFD Station No. 21.  Both groups were thankful for our donations, but not as thankful as we are for them showing up every day and performing the tough and often life-threatening work they do.
Below are pictures of the PPCA's Jeremy Ellis and Hannah Beaver delivering the donations.
