Neighborhood Parks

Peachtree Park residents enjoy the convenience of community parks and playgrounds, including the neighborhood Pocket Park Playground located on East Paces Ferry Road.

The playground is maintained by donations given to the Peachtree Park Civic Association. A group of neighborhood parents negotiated the lease of an empty lot from a nearby businessman. There, you will find a fenced-in play area and a place for adults and children to meet. Street Play is frequently held at the Pocket Park, as well as our annual Ice Cream Social and Halloween Pizza Party.
In 2007, PPCA began a major fundraising effort to refurbish and enhance the Pocket Park with the help of Bennett Landscaping, who is currently re-working the park plans and will maintain it for us at no cost to the neighborhood.

In addition, The Darlington Triangle, phase 3, plan was completed in 2006 with the generous donation of funds from The Friends of Peachtree Park and LifeScapes landscaping company. LifeScapes continues to maintain and plant the Darlington Triangle and assisted in 2007 and 2008 by adding color and annuals to the main entrances of the neighborhood.
